1. Important Customer Information

1a.

These Terms & Conditions apply to all contracts entered into with Diamond Oaks Joinery Ltd for the supply, manufacture, installation, or fitting of bespoke joinery and carpentry works, whether domestic or commercial.

By placing an order with us, including payment of any deposit, you are entering into a legally binding contract.

1b.

Please ensure all details relating to your project, including measurements, designs, finishes, materials, and specifications, are checked carefully before approval. Any changes requested after approval may result in additional costs and revised lead times.

1c.

Your consumer rights are protected under UK law. Nothing within these Terms affects your statutory rights.

2. Company Overview

2a.

Diamond Oaks Joinery Ltd specialises in bespoke joinery, fitted furniture, media walls, wardrobes, kitchens, storage solutions, commercial joinery, and custom interior woodwork.

2b.

All projects are individually manufactured and tailored to suit the customer’s space and requirements.

2c.

Installations are carried out by Diamond Oaks Joinery Ltd or trusted approved contractors acting on our behalf.

3. Quotations, Pricing & Orders

3a.

All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

3b.

Quotations are based on the information available at the time and may be subject to revision following site visits, surveys, or specification changes.

3c.

Any drawings, visuals, concepts, or design ideas provided by Diamond Oaks Joinery Ltd remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3d.

Customers are responsible for ensuring measurements, specifications, and approvals are correct before manufacture begins.

4. Deposits, Payments & Ownership

4a.

A non-refundable deposit is required before materials are ordered, manufacturing begins, or installation dates are secured.

4b.

Payment schedules may vary depending on the size and nature of the project. Remaining balances are due as agreed within the quotation or invoice terms.

4c.

Once manufacturing, cutting, finishing, or custom production has commenced, payments made are non-refundable due to the bespoke nature of the works.

4d.

All goods and materials remain the property of Diamond Oaks Joinery Ltd until paid for in full.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

5a.

Due to the bespoke nature of our work, cancellations after approval or commencement of manufacture may result in loss of deposit and charges for materials, labour, design time, and work completed to date.

5b.

Where products or materials have been specially ordered or manufactured, these cannot usually be returned or refunded.

5c.

Any refunds agreed will be processed back to the original payment method where possible.

6. Installation & Site Access

6a.

Customers must ensure safe and reasonable access to the property and working areas during installation.

6b.

Areas must be clear of personal belongings, furniture, and obstructions unless otherwise agreed in advance.

6c.

Diamond Oaks Joinery Ltd is not responsible for delays caused by site conditions, third party contractors, restricted access, or unfinished preparatory works.

6d.

Where installations cannot proceed due to customer-related delays or access issues, additional charges may apply.

7. Bespoke Materials & Natural Variations

7a.

Natural materials such as timber, veneer, stone, painted finishes, and handcrafted elements may vary in grain, texture, colour, shading, or appearance.

7b.

Samples, renders, photographs, and showroom displays are intended as a guide only and exact matches cannot be guaranteed.

7c.

These variations form part of the natural character of bespoke joinery and are not considered defects.

8. Customer Responsibilities

8a.

Customers must inform Diamond Oaks Joinery Ltd of any known site conditions that may affect installation, including uneven walls, hidden services, structural concerns, damp, or restricted access.

8b.

Customers are responsible for ensuring all necessary permissions, approvals, and consents are obtained before works commence.

8c.

Customers must ensure other trades are completed where necessary before installation dates.

9. Warranties & Guarantees

9a.

Diamond Oaks Joinery Ltd guarantees workmanship for 12 months from the date of installation.

9b.

This guarantee does not cover:

  • General wear and tear

  • Accidental damage

  • Water or moisture damage

  • Improper use or maintenance

  • Natural movement of timber

  • Damage caused by third parties

9c.

Manufacturer warranties on supplied products or components may also apply separately.

10. Liability

10a.

Diamond Oaks Joinery Ltd shall not be liable for:

  • Minor cosmetic marks or disturbance caused during installation

  • Delays outside of our reasonable control

  • Hidden structural or site-related issues not visible at survey stage

  • Damage caused by unsuitable site conditions or customer instructions

10b.

We are not responsible for accidental damage to hidden pipes, cables, or services that have not been clearly identified prior to works commencing.

10c.

Our total liability shall not exceed the total value of the contract.

11. Photography & Marketing

11a.

Diamond Oaks Joinery Ltd reserves the right to photograph completed works for portfolio, website, and marketing purposes unless agreed otherwise in writing.

12. Website Use

12a.

The content on our website is provided for general information only and may be updated or changed without notice.

12b.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the website or that all information will always be current and error-free.

13. Severance & Waiver

13a.

If any provision within these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain valid and enforceable.

13b.

Failure to enforce any right under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right.

14. Governing Law

14a.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England & Wales.

14b.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
